Yesterday, a post was shared on the Xbox Facebook profile announcing that Bethesda is now part of the Xbox team. This happened because Microsoft acquired ZeniMax Media, which owns several game studios, including Bethesda Softworks, ZeniMax Online Studios, and id Software.

Under the agreement, Microsoft paid ZeniMax Media $7.5 billion in cash, making it the largest purchase in the video game industry. As a result, Microsoft now owns one of the largest video game publishers and several very popular games. Moreover, the total number of development studios owned by Microsoft increased from 15 to 23.

Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella said in an interview:

“With the acquisition of Bethesda, both figuratively and literally, we’ve doubled the number of our games.”

Finally, a few words from me: I hope Microsoft makes the best use of this to promote the new Xbox Series X and that the new games published by Bethesda won’t have thousands of bugs anymore

O…. Doom Eternal na Xbox’sie to będzie frajda jak tylko zdobędę tą konsolę. Mam nadzieje, że konsola wytrzyma najwyższe ustawienia xd.
